Meet Dr. Emily Thompson

My name is Dr. Emily Thompson . I am originally from Millington. I am a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and I absolutely love what I do! When I am not at work, I love reading all types of books, working out, and spending time with my family. Personal growth is something I am very passionate about and I am always striving to be the very best version of myself that I can be.

Attending U of M has allowed me to learn the latest in dentistry and advanced cosmetic procedures. It also taught me the importance of always staying updated and continuing to learn throughout my entire career. At any given time, I am likely in the middle of some continuing education course whether its online, in a journal, or out of the office. I do love to travel, which means I get to combine my love of travel with my love of learning at times! It is of extreme importance to me that I always provide the best, most up-to-date care for all of my patients.

While I love working with people of all ages, I particularly love working with individuals who are anxious about visiting the dentist. (I think we all are, to some degree!). I strive to ensure each visit is comfortable and pleasant for everyone. Dr. Emily Thompson, originally from Millington, graduated with her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan in 2015. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan-Flint. She is affiliated with the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Genesee District Dental Society. She has completed several continuing education classes, and is currently working towards achieving her Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry.
